As challenging as 2020 was for all of us, soul-jazz flutist Ragan Whiteside continues trending upwards. For the second consecutive year, the Atlanta-based musician-songwriter was Billboard’s top female Smooth Jazz Songs artist. Whiteside was one of only three female artists and the only flute player who made it into Billboard’s year-end top 10. Her hit streak of six consecutive Billboard top 10 singles remains intact, yet she has some unfinished business that she is determined to get done in 2021....
